Community happened this weekend and I’m grateful to have been a part of it.
A group of us went up to Seattle and spectated the NorthWest CrossFit Regionals. Regionals is the final make-or-break test for men, women, and teams who want to qualify for the CrossFit Games in Cali this summer.
CrossFit is a sport. Yup, I said it. Come at me bro.
It is always more fun to watch friends who are competing and our buddies at CrossFit Fort Vancouver put on a show. They took first place at Regionals and are going back to the CrossFit Games for a fourth straight year.
While Regionals was the reason why we went to Seattle, the best part was getting a house and hanging out with members at the gym, especially those I haven’t spent time with outside of a class.
I’m not a vacation type of guy, always need something to do. However on this trip, I finally felt why people love having nothing pressing to do.
In doing nothing, we found a fun little video I had forgotten from the CFPDX archives.
