Teaching Crossfit to Kaiser Employees

Too busy to work out? Studies show that getting just a short workout during lunch can be beneficial. The key is intensity.

“15 minutes of exercise can net you nearly the same effects of a 60 minutes workout, if you increase the intensity.”

The key to getting the lunch workout into your busy day, is being prepared. Make sure you have clothes to easily change in and out of, a little deodorant doesn’t hurt, have your food prepped and ready to eat and you’ll be good to go in an hour.

Crossfit Portland has just started to teach lunch-hour Crossfit to Kaiser Permanente Employees who work at the Lloyd Building.

For the next 8 weeks, lucky Kaiser employees will be taught by Madoc and Scott H. every Wednesday and Friday.

Classes have filled up and there’s a wait list!

Looks like Kaiser is living up to their motto and getting their intensity on. Way to get some, KP!
