The sport of olympic weightlifting is comprised of two lifts: the snatch and the clean & jerk.
These dynamic, challenging, and beautiful movements require and build tremendous amounts of strength, speed, coordination, and skill. Weightlifting is a large component of CrossFit training, as well as a rewarding sport and training regime that you can choose to pursue.
Beginner 6 Week Course
Our Beginner’s Weightlifting Program is great for athletes who have little to no weightlifting experience, or those who simply wish to brush up on their skills before returning to their regular CrossFit training.
This small group class meets once a week, Tuesday at 5:30 PM, for 6 weeks, with one optional day of training homework each week.
By the end of the cycle, participants will have a solid base of technique in the snatch and clean & jerk. Anyone who knows how to front squat, press, and deadlift may take the class, and you may take the class more than once.

Intermediate Weightlifting Class
Our Intermediate Weightlifting Program is for lifters who have been through our Beginner’s Program who wish to train the olympic lifts exclusively.
There are four training days per week, Monday and Wednesday 6:30 PM are led by Coach Jonathan. Lifters will work through more advanced training progressions that aim to refine technique while building strength in the snatch and clean & jerk.
Experienced lifters who have not been through the Beginner’s Program must get approval from Coach Jonathan in order to join the Intermediate Program.
